Job Summary:

Crimson Brand Partners (University of Utah) are looking for an executive to drive the creation and customization of key partnership visual elements across Utah Athletics, the university campus, NIL, and licensing. The Partnership Graphic Designer will be deeply embedded within the partnerships function and will work directly with members of the Partnership Development, Partnership Marketing, and Licensing teams. The role requires a strong understanding of how design directly supports sales, partner engagement, and revenue generation.



Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Drive the creation and customization of compelling digital and print presentations specifically for Crimson Brand Partners’ Partnerships Team.
  • Develop unique creative concepts within the University of Utah brand identity for sales mockups and presentations to enhance customized pitches for prospects and partners.
  • Translate complex data and sales pitches into concise, sharp visuals, and infographics that amplify commercial storytelling.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to conceptualize and develop creative assets that support brand, departmental, and organizational goals.
  • Uphold and enforce University of Utah Brand Standards, ensuring all outputs consistently leverage logos, internal assets, and conceptualizations.
  • Create and maintain template(s) for sales decks, recaps, and other essential collateral used by the sales, solutions, and partnership marketing teams.
  • Annually refresh the master sales deck, integrating updated brand standards and seasonal themes in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Develop creative assets for external partner communications, including partner events, summits, and draft events.
  • Provide design support for partner creative tied to contractual assets on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist with copywriting and the development of verbal storytelling elements to complement visual assets.
  • Maintain an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing needs from the broader Marketing organization.



Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience as a creative professional, with a strong preference for experience in sports and/or entertainment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint design capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability in presentation design, including creating impactful sales decks and mockups.
  • Strong skills in data visualization and translating complex information into clear graphics and infographics.
  • Ability to maintain and implement brand standards consistently.
  • Proven ability to manage time independently, prioritize competing projects, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate concepts and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Initiative and ability to present innovative ideas.



Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
  • Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
  • Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Full-Time, Exempt opportunity that is eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. This role is expected to have a standard 40-hour work week.
