LEAD CUSTODIAN RFT

Join our team as a Lead Custodian and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our library community. This position combines hands-on custodial work with leadership responsibilities, including guiding daily tasks, supporting coworkers, and ensuring our facilities are well maintained.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and participate in daily custodial and cleaning duties

• Assist with training and supporting custodial staff

• Help coordinate room setups for meetings and programs

• Operate custodial equipment and assist with floor and carpet care projects

• Monitor building conditions and report maintenance concerns

• Help maintain building security when working independently

• Provide coverage at nearby library branches as needed

You will get:

• Competitive starting pay of $16.69 per hour.  

Hours for this position are:

40 hours a week to include weekend rotation and shift coverage as needed. Schedule may include evenings and weekends based on library needs.
